摘要

Printed circuit board layout inspection methods are mostly basedon local geometric information, therefore they are well suited to theCNN paradigm. Here the detection of two layout errors is considerednamely, the breaks in the wires and some kind of short circuits. Thedesigned analogic algorithms to solve the problems above were testedon real-life examples using an experimental system based on ourCNN-HAB digital multiprocessor add-in-board with l million cell spaceand at a speed of 2.0 μs/cell/iteration. The break detectionalgorithm was tested on a 20*22 CNN Universal Machine (CNNUM) chipand the results were compared to other automatic optical inspectionsystems as well. Copyright
