THE EFFECT OF DISCONNECTING RADIATORS IN CERTAIN UNITS OF A MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL BUILDING ON THE HEATING OF INDIVIDUAL APARTMENTS

The paper describes an experiment that involved cutting-off the supply of the heating medium to radiators in the units of multi-family residential buildings in order to assess the temperature drop in rooms where thermostatic valves at the radiators were closed. The temperature in the rooms was read out and recorded using a Daq Book measuring system by IOtech. The experiment was carried out in the period 23 January to 25 February 2006.
