Critical current enhancement in fieldhyphen;oriented YBa2Cu3O7minus;dgr;

摘要

The crystalline anisotropy of YBa2Cu3O7minus;dgr;is found to have a significant effect in degrading critical currentJc. Pressed polycrystalline pellets of fieldhyphen;oriented grains have significantly higherJcvalues (5 times larger) than unoriented samples of the same material. Effects of annealing and metal doping are also discussed.
