摘要

An exact numerical solution to the boundary layer equations to MHD flow past a serni4nfinite flat plate in the presence of induced magnetic field is derived by assuming the temperature of the plate to vary as A#chi#~n, where #chi# is the distance measured along with plate. Temperature profiles are reported graphically while the values of the rate of heat transfer {-#theta#'(0)} are listed. It is observed that the values {-#theta#'(0)} increase with increasing n.
