Situated in the midst of the Western Ghats, Harley Estate, is an original British plantation with over 150 years of history. Documents go as far back as 1894, where a British by the name Edmund Broughton Ellicott planted the first set of plants in this scenic area situated right on the foothills of the Manjarabad fort. The plantation over the century has been handed over to Classic Kutumba, A fourth and fifth generation group of entrepreneurial planters with a keen eye for environmental preservationand passion for the perfect balanced cup of coffee in its various forms. Headed by our experienced chairman Shri D.M. Shankar with over 4 decades of speciality coffee plantation and trading experience, the Plantation is guided on a regular basis by our Managing Director Shri D.M. Purnesh.
