Gender perspectives in coconut product diversification - an analysis

A survey was conducted by CPCRI among 30 Self Help Groups for women regarding their awareness and knowledge on coconut product diversification, utilisation of women groups in starting the enterprises and the prospects they perceive in adopting them.P. Anitha Kumari and Jissy George of CPCRI prove that enterprises on coconut product diversification are women friendly and suitable for group activities generating additional income.
