摘要

In this study, chitinase gene (Pr-3) expression in tea (Camellia sinensis) during induced systemic resistance by methyl jasmonate was studied. 2 primers specific for chitinase (Pr-protein) were used in RT-PCR to measure the differential transcript accumulation in different tissue systems (young leaf, mature leaf, callus and shoots). Results showed that chitinase expression increased by 5.57% in mature tea leaves compared with the other in vitro grown tissues.
