Three Somatic Responses in Grief

摘要

The special instance in which the manifestations of grief are expressed principally in the somatic realm is discussed. Three case histories are presented to illustrate varieties of physical response to bereavement and to illustrate the various mechanisms responsible for the transformation of grief into physical symptomatology and illness.
