Urbanisation and the peripheries of large cities in India: the dynamics of land use and rural work.

摘要

This paper argues that the rural workers in the urban fringes of the largest cities would experience a higher degree of marginalization from work relative to their counterparts in the interior rural areas. Findings reveal that the rural interiors have exhibited less drastic trends than that revealed by the districts around the metro city.
