A study has been carried out aiming to theimprovement of the physico-mechanical properties of lime-richclay building bricks made by firing then water curing using finesand and ordinary portland cement. The results show that theseadditives can improve the properties of the fired and water curedbuilding bricks with varied ratios. The addition of 15percent finesand to the calcareous clay fired and then water cured gives betterimprovement for the strength of the fired bricks with a ratio ofabout 77percent after 90 days water curing.
