Varifocal objectives for thermal imaging surveillance devices

Designs of varifocal objectives with different zoom ratios for operation in spectral ranges of 3-5 and 8-12 mu m are considered. The optical layouts, appearance, and design specifications of the objectives are presented. (C) 2017 Optical Society of America
