BLUE CIRCLE, NESHER EYE BIRLA STAKE IN MYSORE CEMENTS

Global cement giants Blue Circle and Nesher of Israel have evinced interest in buying SK Birla group's 24.17 percent stake in its ailing cement company Mysore Cements. Saurashtra Chemicals (SCL). an SK Birla company, had earlier sold its 32.2 percent stake in the two million tonne capacity Mysore Cements last year to Nirma Chemical.
