Development of a resin material with high weather resistance and plating stability

摘要

This paper describes a new plastic material which is used for exterior parts of commercial vehicles. The weather resistance and plating stability necessary for the exterior use were obtained by replacing a composite of ABS, butadiene rubber with ethylene propylene rubber and acrylc rubber. The plating stability was obtained by justifying the distribution of particle diameter. The newly developed material has been applied to the radiator grill of large-sized trucks.
