Process Control Instrumentation in the Iron and Steel Industry

摘要

The paper covers the application of Process Control Instruments in the various units of the steel plants for the measurement and control of process parameters such as temperature, flow, pressure, calorific value, wobbe index, weight, composition of liquids, gases, levels and flame detection etc. Special instruments for monitoring and control of metal thickness and fault detection etc. for Rolling Mills Complex have not been covered in this paper.
