摘要

A solid state circuit essentially consisting of a low frequency multivibrator was used to modulate the d.c. signal fed to a galvanometer on-off temperature controller. It was used to control the temperature of a resistance heated muffle furnace to an accuracy of #xb1;0#xb7;5#xb0; at 1000#xb0;C over a period 30#x2013;40 hours of operation.
