Power generation from cement plant waste heat is an established fact. The paper attempts to demonstrate the applicability of the well-proven organic Rankie cycle technology to efficient and cost-effective heat recovery for power generation from clinker cooler exhaust air alone, and for both clinker cooler air and preheater gases.
