Although there is nothing intrinsically funny about farming, comedy and agriculture do have one thing in common timing is everything! Perhaps a better and more accurate analogy would be between farming and the stock market. In both cases, timing can mean the difference between profit and loss. This not only applies to when to plant and when to harvest, but to the logistics of having everything in the right place at the right time and in working order. But logistics of coordinating the right equipment in the right place at the right time aren't always that easy or straightforward. When a harvester's storage is full, for example, operations may have to stop until the support vehicle arrives and the harvested crop can be emptied into it. Traditionally, knowing when to call for support has been a matter of experience and guesswork.
