IMPAKT 2011 - a Unique International Meeting on Breast Cancer Translational Research

The 3rd IMPAKT Breast Cancer Conference and the pre-IMPAKT training course, organized by the Breast International Group (BIG) and European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), were held on May 4-7, 2011 in Brussels, Belgium. Nearly 600 researchers and oncologists from all over the world attended this annual conference on translational and clinical breast cancer research. This year, the meeting focused on clinically challenging breast cancer subtypes, genomic profiling, tumor microenvironment, preoperative therapies as well as the practical implementation of targeted therapies.
