Opec crude deal extension to hold down stocks

Opec and a group of non-Opec producers have agreed to extend their crude production deal at the same level for nine months. Saudi oil minister and Opec president Khalid al-Falih says ministers looked at extending for six, nine and 12 months and had weighed deepening the curbs. But “nine months is the optimum”, he says.
