Mechanism of Action of Grinding Aids in Cement Production

摘要

This is a summary of the use of cement additives in the cement production, focusing on the mechanism of action of grinding aids (G.A.). A distinction will be made between pure G.A. and G.A. - performance enhancers, that act on the mechanical characteristics of the cement. In the end, the benefits of the use of cement additives have been considered, together with a brief outline on their industrial and economical evaluation.
