New Indo-Roman Script for Transliteration of all the Indian Languages

摘要

In this paper, an attempt is made to evolve Indo-Roman script to transliterate all the Indian Languages phonetically. Phonetic assignment of Roman fonts is different in majority of the European languages. This paper also considers the unique assignment of Indian Spelling Phonemes to each of Roman fonts. Four instructional fonts have been used to identify(a)short and long vowel signs.(b)soft, hard and heavy consonants and(c)vowel signs and vowels.
