A submerged arc welded (SAW) chrome pipe launched by Corus Tubes' energy division is aimed at the petrochemical and process industries.The SAW 5 per cent chrome pipe is available in external diameters from 508 up to 1168mm and is produced to ASTM A691 specifications. Pipe can be ordered in maximum lengths of 6 of 9.2m, depending on the diameter and wall thickness - which can be specified between 6.4 and 30.2mm.
