摘要

In this paper, a new class of signature codes for synchronous optical CDMA systems is proposed. The proposed codes are constructed over extension fields GF(pm) where p is a prime number and m is a positive integer. The correlation properties of the proposed codes are the same as that of Modified Prime Sequence Codes (MPSC's), while MPSC's are constructed over GF(p). A simple method to construct the new codes is shown. It is proved that the codes have the special correlation properties for any prime number p and for any positive integer m. It is also shown that a class of original MPSC's is a subclass of the class proposed in this paper.
