摘要

An investigation was carried out to study the fertility levels and weed control practices in rainfed barley 'K560' at Kanpur during rabi season of 2004-05 and 2005-06. Application of 60 kg N + 30 kg P_2O_5 + 30 kg K_2O/ha brought about signficiantly highest grain and straw yield over other treatments. In adidtion, the N, P, K content as well as uptake by both grain and straw and net return were also more. Crop yield was better with inter-culture about 25 days after planting as compared to application of atrazine @ 1.0 kg a.i / ha (pre-emergence).
