The Kanpur Local Centre jointly with the U P State Centre of the Institution organized a two-day All India Seminar on the topic 'Advances in Materials and Techniques in Construction' during October 1 -2,2010. Dr R G Bagla, Group President, J K White Cements Ltd, Kanpur, in his inaugural address, discussed the application of innovative materials being used in manufacturing cement in general and in white cement in particular.
