A note on proper projective vector fields in space-times

An approach is developed to study proper projective symmetry in the rank-four space-times. A particular example of plane symmetric static space-times is taken and it is shown that when the rank of the 6×6 Riemann matrix is four then no proper projective vector field will exist.
