AbstractMixtures of liquid paraffin and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) were studied by small angle X‐ray scattering. The scattering patterns exhibited a single peak in finite angles and deviated from Porod's law in larger angles. The fractal dimension of mixtures was determined by power‐law analysis. The whole scattering curves were fitted well by a scattering formula. The average size and correlation distance of the aggregates were calculated from a correlation function. The fractal dimension and the static parameters were found to decrease with increasing the temperature and PDMS concentrat
