Mr P N Tandon, Chairman of the Centre, delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest, Dr Munir Sayyed, General Manager, Reliance Communications, Navi Mumbai, presented his views regarding present and future of Telecommunication Engineering. He also highlighted India's technical capabilities with reference to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam's vision. Mr J N Mistry, Honorary Secretary of the Centre, proposed the vote of thanks.
