On black-hole solutions in two-dimensional dilaton gravitytheories

We study some properties of black-hole solutions in two-dimensionaldilaton gravity theories. In particular we obtain general solutions for the interiormetric function and the interior dilaton field. We discuss conditions under whichblack holes arise as a consequence of gravitational collapse and elaborate on someproperties of the solutions.
