摘要

The pulsed wire method is a widely accepted technique for undu_lator field measurement. It has limited applications due to wire sag. The wire sag causes distortions in the form of traveling waves in the wire and causes errors in the measurement for long undulators. In this paper we report measurements of wire sag and wave velocity in our pulsed wire set-up. The measured data for the wire sag and wave velocity are compared with theory.
