An alternate formulation of the tensorial London equation d[{Uj] + cm/QFij = 0 (i,j = 1, 2, 3,4) written in terms of electric and magnetic field intensities E and h is presented. Physically measurable quantities are introduced by means of the corresponding "standard relative" quantities defined by Cattaneo, quantities which transform according to the classical tensorial law on changes of coordinates internal to the given physical system of reference. Using the operator of tranverse derivation, the standard London equations may be exhibited in the same form as the classical equations written in 3-vector forms with added terms representing the influence of the gravitational field. Expressions of the electric and magnetic fields induced inside a superconductor at rest in a curved space-time are obtained Comparison is made with the results predicted by other treatments.
