Imaging Guidelines for Nuclear Cardiology Procedures

The directive to the Writing Groups was to document applications and protocols approved and adopted by experts in the field. The guidelines are intended to reflect a consensus of opinion of these experts regarding the aspects of imaging, reconstruction interpretation, and reporting and represent a well-tested and proven set of protocols for nuclear cardiology. The recommendations set forth by the committee should be used to assist nuclear cardiology laboratories in delivering state-of-the-art patient care while maintaining the highest standards possible.
