Splenic lesions on Tc-99m SC scintigraphy are usually caused by lymphoma, infarctions, or tumor. A case of cystic lymphangiomatosis of the spleen, an extremely rare pathologic entity, causing similar splenic defects is presented and the preoperative diagnosis is discussed.
