Towards LHC: ATLAS and CMS experiences in CCRC'08

In the past years, LHC experiments tested the readiness of boththe grid middleware and the application layer by grid-wide and experiment-specificchallenges. For the first time, in February-May 2008, the CCRC'08 tested theactivity of all LHC experiments simultaneously in preparation of data taking. Thisnote briefly accounts of this experience from ATLAS and CMS point of view.
