Advanced Technologies, Design, Constructio and Management of Cooling Towers

The Tuticorin Local Centre of the Institution organised a two-day All India Seminar on 'Advanced Technologies, Design, Construction and Management of Cooling Towers', under the aegis of Mechanical Engineering Division, during June 17-18, 2010. The Chief Guest, Mr C Ganesan, Chief Engineer, Tuticorin Thermal Power Station, stressed the need for cost optimization in industries by utilising latest technologies and congratulated IEl for organising several programmes for the engineering community. Dr D Thirunakkarasu, Chairman, Tamilnadu State Centre of the Institution, in his inaugural address, explained that achieving efficiency and economy needed the use of simple and effective methods and devices.
