The Visakhapatnam Local Centre of the Institution jointly with the Department of Systems Design, Andhra University, organized a two-day All India Seminar on the theme 'Telecommunication Switching Systems and Networks' under the aegis of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Division, IEI, during January 30-31, 2014 at Visakhapatnam. Prof G S N Raju, Vice Chancellor, Andhra University, in his address said that the electromagnetic radiation being emitted by the cell towers and all other such technologies are silent killer.
