摘要

AbstractThe intrinsic viscosity–molecular weight relationship has been determined for syntheticcis‐1,4‐polyisoprene prepared with butyllithium initiator. The best representation of our results is the equation, η = 2.00 × 10−4(M̄v)0.728, for intrinsic viscosities determined in toluene at 30°C. This relationship agrees, within experimental error, with that obtained for natural rubber by Carter, Scott
