Automating the sleeving process

A versatile motion control solution was required by a manufacturer of food packaging equipment for use in an automated system designed to place card sleeves around pre-packed food products. Packs of food and ready-meals with card sleeves are very much in demand by major retailers. However, applying the sleeves has, traditionally, been a labour-intensive manual process. To address this situation, Keymac Packaging Systems set about developing a more versatile, automated solution.
