Critical Technology Issues: Mini-Underwater Vehicles

The Karnataka State Centre of the Institution in association with National Design & Research Forum (NDRF), IEI, organized a two-day All India Seminar on the theme 'Critical Technology Issues: Mini-Underwater Vehicles' under the patronage of Interdisciplinary Coordination Committee, IEI, during March 11-12,2015 at Bangalore. Dr L V Muralikrishna Reddy, President, IEI, was the Chief Guest. In his address, Dr Reddy informed that NDRF is very keen to promote National Program on Unmanned Water Vehicle (UWV) similar to NPMICAV. 'India has a long coastline to explore the coast and sea', added Dr Reddy. He expressed hope that this Seminar will help to bring forth through technical talks and poster sessions experts and delegates in this field, to identify critical technology issues and challenges to be addressed to develop self reliant capabilities in underwater vehicle development.
