Rehabilitation and Retrofitting for Sustainable Structures

The Jodhpur Local Centre of the Institution organised a two-day All India Seminar on 'Rehabilitation and Retrofitting for Sustainable Structures' under the aegis of Civil Engineering Division during August 19-20, 2011 at Jodhpur. The Chief Guest, Prof B S Rajpurohit, Vice Chancellor, J N V University,Jodhpur, stressed upon natural environment friendly ambience in rural habitat. He discussed various aspects which lead to man-made disasters. Prof Rajpurohit mentioned that advancement in technology has put mankind to think and work upon concept of sustainability. He expressed his pleasure to know about the State Retrofitting Clinic established in the Structural Engineering Department of the JNV University.
