It's that time of the year again: The time to pick up the crystal ball and predict what will happen during what traditionally is the busiest season for sales and care of leather apparel. Fall is usually the peak season for the leather-aftercare industry, when the chill sets in and consumers bring out their leathers. Cleaners typically take in five to 10 times as many garments in this period as they would during the warm summer months. Many factors can affect how busy the "busy" season really is, however. The most prominent are the weather, leather sales, leather fashions, leather prices and the economy. Let's examine each.
