An engineering boss, who started out as an apprentice more than 30 years ago, has been shortlisted for a national award in recognition of his entrepreneurial spirit. Alan Lusty, chief executive officer at adi Group, has been selected to join the Midlands regional short list for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Run by the global accountancy firm, the awards are designed to recognise the accomplishments of entrepreneurs around the world.
