This study focuses on employing a Li-Fi module to send data more quickly at toll plazas, which will lessen ETC issues. Li-Fi has the benefit of being able to be used in sensitive environments without interfering, such as in aircraft and other forms of transportation. The Li-Fi mechanism is used in all four-wheeled vehicles and at toll booths. The technology used at the toll plaza instantly recognizes the vehicle details after the vehicle's Li-Fi transmitter and Li-Fi receiver are coupled. This article focuses on Li-Fi innovation; the Li-Fi system utilizes Li-Fi to gather data on vehicles that travel through toll plazas and electronically debit the toll payment from the car owner's prepaid account, reducing traffic congestion and eliminating human error in the process. The owner of the car must register it with Li-Fi to create a rechargeable account. When a car passes through a toll gate, the toll is deducted immediately from its account, and the owner of the vehicle is notified. LEDs are used to provide light in this OWC technology. The photodiode converts the light it receives into binary data, which is then sent to the microcontroller. The PC's serial port is where the microcontroller is linked. The system's primary benefits include reduced travel times, an uncongested network, lower emissions in toll areas, and no infrastructure costs. Both the toll authority and the toll customers benefit from this.
