Platts Analytics releases report on hydrogen production

According to SP Global Platts Analytics's recently-published Hydrogen Monitor, demand for pure hydrogen is around 76MM mt/y and is primarily met through gasification of fossil fuels and steam methane reforming. Last year, 38.5MM mt of hydrogen was supplied to refining, 33.3MM mt was for ammonia production, and 4.75MM mt was used for other purposes.
