GPI commends passage of California Senate Bill 54

The Glass Packaging Institute(GPI)released a statement on 1 July in support of the passage of SB 54 in California.SB54,California's landmark polluter-pays law,transfers recycling costs from taxpayers to packaging manufacturers,including collection and sorting.The law also requires all single-use packaging to be recyclable by 2032,regardless of its material.
