The Quality Standard for Imaging (QSI) is jointly owned and developed by The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) and the College of Radiographers (CoR). Originally called the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme, it was launched in 2009 and is aimed at UK diagnostic imaging services both in the NHS and the private sector. The standard exists to provide a robust assessment and tangible evidence of quality for the whole service, which is then accredited by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).
