Dominion Energy expects to receive a federal regulatory decision on its2.6-GW offshore wind project in Virginia by mid-2023 with constructioncompleted by late 2026, company executives said Nov. 4, adding thatthey have initiated a strategic business review resulting from shareprice underperformance.The investor-owned utility’s executives said a draft environmentalimpact statement from the federal Bureau of Ocean Energy Managementis expected by the end of the year for its Coastal Virginia Offshore Windproject, with a record of decision from the agency following in mid-2023and onshore construction beginning in the third quarter of 2023.
