摘要

Over the last two to three decades, the developments in poultry nutrition has dramatically improved productivity/performances of various poultry species. The nutrient requirements had been fined-tuned to bririg the estimates closer to the actual needsof the animals. However, the focus had been on individual diets when emphasis should have been on the development of life-cycle feeding programs of various classes of birds, so even in the advent of sophistication in terms of production systems, there is still the problems of inappropriate nutrient intake at anytime in the production cycle.
