"Foot and Mouth Disease vaccines consti-tute a small part of the total world veterinary biologicals market and are expensive to pro-duce, purchase and administer. Throughout the world the production of FMD vaccines has declined due to reductions in regular offtake of vaccines linked to planned prophylactic vaccination campaigns.
