Locally produced FMD vaccine, finally

Vaccines against livestock diseases, particularly the dread foot and mouth disease (FMD), will be produced locally. The Department of Science and Technology, Department of Agriculture, and National Agribusiness Corporation (NABCOR) have agreed to putup a world-class animal vaccine laboratory and commercialize its products to meet the needs of the livestock industry.The project is called "Vaccine Development, Licensing, Production, and Disease Diagnostic Technology Development and Service."
